P.S. If you know the name of the song, that would help too. Thanks! Peace.

You Gotta See This
There is a fantastic new song on a Verizon commercial about a dad who goes to work and sends his daughter and wife amusing pictures of his day on his camera phone. Does anyone know who sings this song? It sounds sort of like me. If you know the answer, my e-mail account got disabled because I had too much spam and I never check it, but you can just send me the answer by snail-mail, to my office. Thanks.

John Mayer: Better Than I Thought
Friday afternoon I sent a fax to John Mayor, our counsel over at Hahnaman Heinnamenn Honeyman LLP. My boss has been getting a lot of summons about some car he drove into a nursery school in '93 and we're hoping Mayor can pull a Michael Clayton for us if you know what I mean. My boss drove through the window of the school and then drove through the school into every classroom until every last child was defeated.
Anyway all this got me thinking about that one time I listened to a 30-second clip of John Mayer on iTunes Music Store. The song is called "Waiting On The World To Change." It's a pretty good song. I spent the whole weekend playing that 30-second clip over and over again, trying to remember what I thought of the song the first time I heard it. My conclusion was that I liked it the first time, but not nearly as much as how much I like it now.
Work tomorrow...

Makin' Potato Pancakes
I really want to lay down this track for a Jewish version of Makin' Banana Pancakes, but two problems:
1. Hannukah just ended so I have to wait until next year.
2. How am I gonna get the band back together?
I don't even have Christmas day off at this place.

Making Banana Pancakes (Part 2)
Sometimes I wish I could take the day off work, pretend I'm sick and stay home with a cute little lady I picked up at a coffee "shop" with a capital S. We'd sleep in until the sun can't be ignored, or perhaps it's raining and I hold her in my arms while we stare out at the city gettin' its rain on. I'd make some waffles while she reads the paper wearing only one of my long flannel shirts and saying funny, cute things I don't understand. Then we'd make some waffle sandwiches and go for a walk in the rain and laugh at some things we find funny together, like a dog wearing underpants, or a person. At home we'd drink some wine and take a bath together and just mellow out while I pull out my guitar and play some sweet mellow licks. Maybe I'd even make up something. Then we could put on a movie, cuddle up under a blanket and give each other little kisses on the lips until it's time to go to bed.
But then who would input all of this data? I gotta get a new job.

Makin' Banana Pancakes
One thing I forgot—and yes, this IS pertinent—does anyone know how to use a fax?
Sleeping Through the Static -- Album Update
Hey friends, Album is on hold for a bit while the ties take care of a few contract issues. (I know... :( ) In the meantime I decided to take this new job at this office. It's a pretty chill place actually, no dress code, everybody's just really chill. I think maybe they don't know who I am? You'd think wearing sandals the second day of work would tip somebody off. Anyway I'm seriously considering bringing in my ax next Tuesday. I'll let you know how it goes. JJ
